“Future Tourism” conference will be held from 4th to 5th of May in Budva, Montenegro. The conference will be organized by the International Association of Students of Tourism and Hospitality (IASTH) and the host Student’s Organization "Turist" and the Faculty of Tourism and Hotel Management in Kotor.
The main topic of „Future Tourism” conference will be “Digital transformation in tourism“, trend gaining more importance each day. Tourism is one of the fastest growing fields in the world. The characteristics of tourism activity make it ideal for digital marketing application. Nowadays, with enormous competition present, it is necessary to offer creative solutions, distinguishing you from others, delighting the customers and enabling the establishment of permanent communication with them. By emphasizing new digital technologies, business in the field of tourism and hotel industy can be significantly improved. Within the conference, several thematic sessions will be held.Thematic sessions:
- Marketing, e-tourism and tourism policy
- Creative industries and events in tourism
- Motivation, behaviour and human resource in tourism
- Education in tourism and teaching
- Natural and cultural resources and thematic routes
- Hospitality
- Gastronomy
Instructions to Authors:
The abstract should be sent electronically. Abstracts of up to 350 words (not including authors' names and affiliations) written in MS Word and corresponding to one of the conference themes should be submitted until indicated dates to official email: papers@ftcm.me
Abstracts should clearly state the purpose, results and conclusions of the research.
Requirements for application:
- Title
- Full author(s) name(s)
- Full author(s) affiliation(s)
- Email address of corresponding author
- Abstract (300 - 350 words)
- Indicate the conference session
One person should not be author/coauthor of more than two abstracts.
All papers are subject to review. The abstracts of the accepted papers will be published in the Abstracts Book, after the Conference. The Abstracts Book will be assigned with ISBN.
The official language of the conference is English.
Note: The author of the paper is responsible for the quality of the translation work.Please mind the important dates and deadlines in order to successfully register and participate in the conference:

Registration fee information:
Academic - 100 EUR*Registration fee for all other authors apart from presenting author - 70 EUR
Students – 50 EUR
Registration fee includes: Publishing your abstracts in the conference abstracts book (ISBN), CD release of the abstracts book, participation in all sessions of the Conference, certificate of attendance, promo material of the Conference, lunch during the breaks.
Conference organizer offers the following additional services to participants:
- Gala dinner on the first day of the conference 25 EUR
- Excursion to Kotor and Perast on the second day of the conference 30 EUR
The deadline for payment of the registration fee and extra services is 15th of April 2019.
